Like others, we traveled with some trepidation based on the many reviews we read. Fortunately, we experienced none of the problems previously listed. We were met by Guest Services and the hotel manager. The check-in process was swift and very pleasant. Everyone was friendly and hospitable from beginning to end. Absolutely no problems with service anywhere (one little bump in the road but not enough to even mention). We had a special request due to medical reasons and Guest Services went way above and beyond in accommodating that request. People at the pool bar were great and servers came around frequently to fill drink orders. Our room was cleaned everyday by noon at the latest and each day that we remembered to push the make up the room button, we received turn-down service. The food was excellent. The pub was a lot of fun and all of the people there were great. They were funny and we really looked forward to a end of the evening drink with them. Towels were no problem on most days. Only one day did we have an issue and that could have been caused by a serious rain storm the day before where people were using may towels to cover up. Our room was perfect.
Overall, this was one of the best "holidays" we have had. And we have stayed at numerous five star resorts. The grounds are beautiful and they seem to take great care in maintaining them.
We would definitely travel back to this property, even given the long waits and long lines at the airport. Which obviously can't be blamed on Sandals.
