“Beautiful Curacao!” I recently got back from a family vacation in Curacao, and it was wonderful! My family and I stayed at Breezes Curacao and we all had a great time. After reading some negative reviews about Breezes I was worried, but we decided to stay there anyway. Breezes was everything we could have wanted and more.
Our room was spacious, clean and the air-conditioner kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Not to mention, there was a big flat-screen t.v. in the room, which my brother and fiance enjoyed. The resort property was nice, including many swimming pools, restaurants, bars and activities. Getting drinks at the resort was no problem, especially if "Baby Love" is around. She was the best bartender, however none of the bartenders were skimpy on adding alcohol to your drinks. The Italian restaurant was my personal favorite, however the Japanese restaurant was delicious as well. Jimmy's Buffet and the Snack bar were ok, we found no problems but preferred the restaurants. The beach area was nice, with plenty of lounge chairs and shade umbrellas. The ocean at the resort was beautiful, calm and had great visibility for snorkeling.
My fiance went diving through the resort dive shop twice, and enjoyed his experience. We took a snorkel trip to the tug boat wreck, also through the dive shop, and that was cool. During our stay we took a jeep tour with Reggie, through the resort activity desk. The jeep tour was a great way to see a lot of the island and we visited two pristine beaches on this tour. We also took the free resort shuttle to Willamsted, which is where we did our souvenir shopping.
Overall, we had no complaints after our six day vacation at Breezes Curacao. We were actually impressed by all of the resorts amenities and everything Curacao had to offer. Definitely this vacation was well worth the money and we'd love to visit again sometime.
