Couples Swept Away Negril

We went to Couples Swept Away on 9/9/08, when we arrived at the airport we had a bit of a wait going through immigration, this didn't bother as we had read that this was normally the case. We had a private transfer that had been arranged by the travel agent to take us to the hotel. The staff at the airport were very friendly and didn't make us rush to get in our taxi so we were able to have a couple of beers in the Couples lounge.
The taxi drive was quite long but that can't be helped it was a comfortable drive with air con.
Hotel - Once we arrived at CSA we were handed cold flannels and a glass of champagne, we checked in and were taken straight to our room with a porter bringing our luggage. Our room - Garden Verandah was perfect nothing to fault at all! Everyday we could come back and the room had been cleaned throughly the mini-bar stocked (we were told we didn't drink enough by our regular guy - Robert.)

As we had never been to the resort before we did the morning orientation by Dexter & Sashagay - They are fantastic, true entertainers, whenever we saw them throughout the whole week they remembered your face and always said hello and had the time of day for you.
Food - was fantastic our favourite place was Lemongrass the food is out of this world, we managed to eat here twice. We also really liked The Palms especially for breakfast, omlettes were delicious. Seagrapes was good if you didn't fancy anything heavy - grilled snapper and the chargrilled vegetables were a favourite. The only restaurant we weren't too impressed with was Patois Patio and that was because its very dark if your not sat near a light and the food wasn't our cup of tea.
Trips - We did the catermaran cruise twice and both times we saw dolphins that came and swam along with the boat. A highly enjoyable trip that the hotel provide and would recommend people to go on it. Just be warned the rum punch they serve you is very very strong! We went on the glass bottom boat one morning and saw loads of sealife. One trip we did that wasn't included in the hotel was deep sea fishing - we had a very good time and were lucky as we caught quite a few fish unlike other people we had spoken too.
Staff - The staff are so friendly and so happy, it felt to us that they couldn't do enough for you.
We did have a problem with some items of clothing going missing from our verandah which were left there to dry. When we went to report this we did find that this was the only time the staff seemed to be particularly un-helpful. It was a slight negative on what was to be honest an extremely enjoyable holiday.
