Budapest Hungary Vacations by Apple
With its multifarious history, incredible architecture and rich cultural heritage, Hungary's capital deserves its reputation as the 'Paris of Central Europe'. It has a complex identity, somewhere between Western luxury and Eastern simplicity. Flowing through the centre of the city is the mighty River Danube, which is spanned by nine bridges joining the city. Budapest possesses a fascinating history as well as a vibrant culture. It is also called City of Spas, as there are thermal bath complexes served by over a hundred natural hot springs.

“Sunset River Cruise- something you will never forget!”
I took a sunset river cruise of the Danube while visiting Budapest. It was the most undescribably beautiful experience of my life! All of the buildings on either side of the river are lit with thousands of lights at night and the boat tour played classical music. Breathtaking!
Gellert Hill and Statue (Gellert Hegy)
The best views of Budapest and the Danube River are from this hill, which also features the imposing fortress, the Citadella, at its summit.
