Apple Vacations Online Quotes & Availability “So much fun!” Breezes Curacao Resort Spa & CasinoI came here on a family trip with my fiancee, her mother, and her brother. First of all, the resort is nice, not super fancy, but definitely nice. We had delays with the plane, but Breezes was on top of it and helped us out the whole way with having our room ready and everything. Once we got there, our bags were brought up and we got started enjoying our time. The drinks are amazing! (Get a swimming pool and ALWAYS find Baby Love to make your drink!) The pools were surprisingly clean, the staff was really friendly and the food was pretty good! Definitely hit up Pastafari and the Japanese restaurant. You always get too much food and leave there satisfied. The snorkeling in the bay was great and the beach was always good for relaxing. If you are a diver, definitely go out diving with the dive shop on the resort. They are super helpful and always are willing to help out. Plus the dives are great (especially the night dive to the tug boat!). The rooms are nothing real great, we were in the 8000 wing which was at the far end. It was quiet, the beds are a bit stiff, but you get used to them. But if you spend most your time out doing activities, its a great place to crash out when you are beat.
The trip to town was good, just the usual tourist shops but some need sight seeing. We did the "Jeep Tours." You don't really take jeeps, they are Suzuki's, but it was still fun. You get to see some cool plantations, eat some good food, spend time at awesome beaches that are BEAUTIFUL, and also get to see an awesome underwater cave....ask for Reggie when you do it...he knows EVERYBODY!
Overall, I think it was a great trip. I was a bit worried when I read bad reviews earlier, but after being there for a week...I loved it. Don't go into the stay feeling like it is going to be a super fancy resort. It is a resort for those who want a nice stay with lots of activities. Its not a five star resort, but for people like me...it was perfect! |
